March 2019
I’m trying to get into the habit of updating this website once a month. I’ve always had an online journal of sorts–be it Xanga (THROWBACK), MySpace, Facebook, etc.–but I haven’t felt connected to writing as much recently. Not being in school anymore, and not even giving an effort to journaling has definitely left a void.
It feels good to be off Facebook. I know I talked about this in my last post, but I don’t miss it at all. It had morphed into something much different than I knew when it was fun. I think a lot of people my age are moving off Facebook too. Instagram is much more fun & silly.
I’ve recently been having thoughts about other career moves within the entertainment industry. Naturally, I met up with a good friend to talk shop this week about potentially making a switch, and I get like 4 auditions and 1 booking…that’s the way it goes! I’m taking all that with a grain of salt, because we all know how fickle this industry is. You can have 4 auditions in a week, heck, in a day, and not have another audition in 4 weeks. I don’t anticipate that happening, luckily, seeing as my average has been about 1 audition/week and it seems to be increasing the more I apply for stuff on my own. But to think the universe is trying to tell me to KEEP ACTING would just be foolish to think. Things are so hot & cold that one minute you’re riding high, the next, you’re checking your email for any sort of action, waiting.
That’s all I got for now. I know no one is reading this, so this is mainly for me I guess. Hey Steve.
